Operations Dispatch Administrator
The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations. We are enabling Northland to contribute to the decarbonisation challenge by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.
About the Role
We are seeking to employ an Operations Dispatch Administrator to coordinate and dispatch the Top Energy fault response team and provide administrative support for the fault delivery process. To ensure safe fault field operations, minimise customer impact, and ensure fault responses are appropriately carried out in the field. This includes timely completion of all aspects of the job, such as customer contact, invoicing, and job closure.
This position reports to the Network Operations Coordinator and is based at our Kerikeri office with hours of work being 7.00am to 3.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and responding to all faults calls in a calm, positive manner
- Maintaining positive customer relationships, including outage updates
- Liaise with the Network Control Centre and other divisions to prioritise and coordinate fault response.
- Participate in contingency planning and extreme event response.
- Monitor team safety and welfare, including fatigue management
- Ensure safe and efficient customer service delivery
- Manage faults and safety invoicing, preparing purchase orders and credit notes
- Coordinating and processing customer-driven safety and compliance requests
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have at least NCEA Level 2, a minimum of three years' administrative experience, and strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in radio or telephone dispatch and direct customer service is advantageous. Additional benefits include familiarity with SAP or other financial systems, as well as experience in the electrical industry and resource coordination.
