Trainee Line Mechanics
We annually recruit for Trainee Line Mechanics from our local Far North community for our Contracting Services Depots based in the Bay of Islands and Kaitaia. Along with on the job training, we help them to gain industry certification.

Top Energy is proud to sponsor many local community projects including the Electricity Rescue Helicopter, Education for Enterprise School to Work program, Far North Science & Technology Fair and the Watersafe programme.
We actively seek feedback from our staff and work hard to keep everyone informed. Each year we ask our employees to complete a survey and these results help identify areas that the company commits to improving. The company produces a bi-monthly newsletter featuring articles from our people and different divisions in our organisation, ensuring everyone is up to date with what's happening in the company. Recently the Top Energy introduced an induction day for all new employees. This provides them with information about our company and the various divisions. The CEO and the General Managers attend and do a brief presentation on their area of the business. This is followed by a tour of our Power Station.
